उल्लङ्घ्य सिन्धोः सलिलं सलीलं यः शोकवह्निं जनकात्मजायाः। आदाय तेनैव ददाह लङ्कां नमामि तं प्राञ्जलिराञ्जनेयम्॥

With joined hands I bow to Anjana’s son. He crossed the ocean with ease and, in the verse’s poetic image, took Sita’s fire of grief and used it to burn Lanka.
मैं हाथ जोड़कर अंजना-पुत्र को प्रणाम करता हूँ। उन्होंने सहज ही समुद्र पार करके सीता के शोक की अग्नि ली और उसी के रूपक से लंका को जला दिया।
